Character Name: Anko Mitarashi
Character Age: 26
Affiliation: Ninja-Hunter
Personality: Anko is an incredibly tomboyish and high-strung woman. She tends to be easily excitable and almost hyperactive at times when she gets her way. Although even though Anko can come off as arrogant and at times dense because she can get so excited she is incredibly analyitical and intelligent. She loves learning of new places and always has a knowledge of the basic layout of the geography her missions are located.

 

Anko has a tendency to be bloodthirsty and enjoys assassination missions especially if she’s allowed to do as she pleases to the victims. But, this is rarely shown to many of the people who would interact with her daily.

Physical Appearance: Anko has shoulder length, unruly lavender coloured hair and large pupil-less Violet eyes. Her hair is usually clipped to the back of her head, sticking out in random directions. She generally like to dress in semi-revealing clothing such as black leggings, fishnet shirts, red tube top [clubbing], knee high boots, skirts, and has an addiction to various coloured trench coats. Her body type is extremely feminine with large hips, a large chest and long legs. She stands at five feet and five inches tall and weighs roughly one hundred ten pounds.

 

 History: Anko’s had a pretty hard life. Growing up in the slums, her parents were dirt poor but loved her all the same. She’s seen the true underside of the city, seen the lowest of the low and all of the illegal goings on that comes with people who are willing to do virtually anything for a few dollars.

 

At a young age she was caught up in a gang for her intelligence and analytical abilities. She quickly progressed through the ranks from being a simple pickpocket and running errands to being the leader within the gang. This progressed rapidly before she entered the ninja academy at the age of twelve after having enough money to support herself.  She completed the academy and was hand picked by Orochimaru and brought into his team for training. Under his guidance she gained an amazing amount of knowledge in the ninja arts along with the functions and relations of the city and how it worked.

 

After some time she realized many of Orochimaru’s motives were not what she wanted and fled from him.  She now works as a hunter-ninja as a specialist in assisting with assassinations that are too dangerous for the routine ninja-hunters or interrogation and assistance with ninja prisoners in the holding cells. This restricts her movement within the Ninja-hunter headquarters blocking her access to the record rooms and any areas with digital or computing software because of her chakra.

 
Quirks, Phobias, or Habits: Anko love sweet foods and will go out of her way for them, especially dango and red bean soup. She always frequents the same teashop every Sunday between one and three pm two blocks from her apartment and has an addiction to trench coats [she has at least fifty coats]. On Friday nights she’s usually at the club ‘The Cerulean Feather’ because they have the best DJ in the city on Fridays. She also has a tendency to get anxious, jittery and irritable if she’s cooped up too long. She has an extreme phobia of being alone, always has the radio or music playing when she’s home.

IC Skills
Training: Anko graduated the ninja academy at age of twelve, trained with Orochimaru and gained unsurmountable knowledge in forbidden jutsu and summoning [snakes] is currently ranks as a specialized jonin.
Specializations/Favorite Weapon: Anko loves simple weapons [kunai, knives etc] But can also summon snakes and relies on her extremely fast reflexes as well as her broad knowledge of tactics and ninjutsu.
Jobs: Tea shop waitress on weekends and some holidays.
Mentor/Partner Status: none, might have a partner in the future.
Civilian Skills: Anko has incredible math skills, able to do mental math extremely efficiently and is quite observant. She also loves food and although she herself cannot cook has a good palette for foods.
Hobbies: Anko loves clubbing and can be found at and number of night clubs, bars, pool halls, and even some gambling dens.  She’s also found frequenting curry restaurants, tea shops and sweet shops.
Living Accommodations: Currently Anko lives in a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment by herself in the downtown core of the city, although if she meets someone who needs a place and she deems alright [and can deal with her job and insanities] she’d let them live with her.

IC Questions
Song That Represents Your Character?:  Slow Burn -Atreyu

Why?: This song explains both the reasons she became what she is and her fears. When she was with Orochimaru she believed that the two of them were quite close and she had someone in the world that gave a damn. Once she realized what the truths were and fled. It also represents how she is currently, dealing with of course all of her scars [as most ninja] finding that the world is incredibly lonely in her position and having all of that push her to be the best she can.
Driving Passion in Life?: Anko strives to prove to herself that she’s better than what she thinks of herself because of her past.
Biggest Fear?: Being completely alone. She hates being left completely alone and always had music or a radio playing. But at the same time she hates people who are needy and clingy.
Best Memory?: Her favourite memory that she remembers often is the first time Orochimaru praised her for completing a summoning. He ruffled her hair and smiled at her and stated that she might’ve been the prettiest and smartest kunoichi he had ever taught and had great expectations for her.
